Timothy Joseph McMahon went home to God on December 12, 2023. His wife was by his side. He was born on October 22, 1942 in Niagara Falls NY. He Graduated in 1961 from St Patrick's Academy Binghamton, NY. He is predeceased by his parents John and Katherine McMahon, brother Stephen McMahon, and sister. Marie Jean McMahon Rebello. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sheila Hogan McMahon as well as their Children: Sean (Arvelyn); Kim (Mike) Johnson; Michael (Doreen); Seamus (Linda); Marie (Martin) Wagner; Eileen (Bill) Kays, Theresa (Mark) Nikula; Brendan (Margaret); Christina (Jeremy) Durgin; Joseph (Elizebeth); Anna (Renzo) Bottazzi; Jeremiah (Natalie); Rosalia (David) Caswell. Along with 78 beloved grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Tim was a member of the Franciscan Order and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed serving the Church as a lector and CCD instructor. His great joy was sharing his love of fishing, boating, and hunting with his 78 grandchildren and teaching them how to use carpentry tools. He loved to be referred to as "Grandpa at the Lake."

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Augustine's Church, Church Road, Silver Lake, PA., Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, NY Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N.
