Mike McCarthy was truly one of my best friends. We spent a lot of time together on golf trips, golf courses with Frank and Walt, and in various bars solving the worlds problems! The conversation always came down to his family, and of course his "girl", Cathe. He loved them so much. Mike had a big heart, and was very generous with his time and money. There are so many good deeds that Mike did for others that were under the radar, not published. He wanted the best for everyone.
I am still stunned and devastated by his passing. I wish we could have spent more time together. We will never forget Mike McCarthy, and we are all better off having spent time with him. Our prayers are with all of you guys. We are so sorry!
