I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear mother, as well
as my mother-in-law. What gave me comfort was the Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25
and verse 8 - "The Sovereign Lord will swallow up death, and wipe away the
tears from all faces." Also at Revelation 21 verse 4, where we find the promise
of God to remove both pain and death. For more comfort, I turn to the website

Mary Chris, Jim, and Patrick,
I attempted posting something last night. Early this morning I still struggle with what to say- there are simply no words that seem adequate to express our sorrow, no words that could possibly lighten your grief...
We send you our love- and we pray that Jimmy now knows a peace that we cannot- a peace this world cannot give.
XOXOXO Colleen, Anthony, Alison and Amanda

My condolences on your loss. I graduated with Jimmy from Vestal and have great memories of him. He was always quick with a hello and a joke and really always seemed genuinely happy. Your family are in my thoughts and I'll be thinking about Jimmy.

It saddens me and surely all to learn of this loss. It's always difficult to lose loved ones but especially tough when the loss is someone so young and in their prime. My sincere condolences to the entire View family, their friends, their neighbors, and the entire community. I'm sure he will be sorely missed.

Jimmy was a wonderful friend. I remember going to movies, wing night, and baseball games with him often, and of course CYO basketball games where it was fun times regardless of how the team did. My first big school dance was with him, his girlfriend at the time, and a girl he set me up with! I'm sorry that I was not around more in recent years but I am happy to have seen him for lunch at the Skylark diner not too long ago where he seemed tired but still was himself and a pleasure to be around.
If you'll allow me a moment of dark humor that Jimmy himself may have enjoyed, I think maybe this was God's way of sparing him the agony of seeing his beloved Browns suffer anymore this season.
I give my love and condolences to you, James Sr., Mary, and Patrick and pray that you are given the strength to endure this horrible time. If there is anything you need or want, whether now or at any point in the future, please know that I will always be Jimmy's friend and that you can call on me for anything, large or small.
With great respect and affection,
David DiMenna

I can not think of a kinder soul than that of Jimmy. He has been a great friend since 9th grade and I will miss him and his smile dearly. My deepest sympathy to his family.
