Obituary of Mary T. Normile

Mary Normile | Visit Guest Book Normile, Mary T. Mary T. Normile,78, of Binghamton, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Normile. She is survived by her brother and his wife, John and Susan Normile; nieces, Kathryn and Brian Poulin, Karen Normile, Amy and Eric Dowdy; a nephew, Sean and Lisa Normile; seven great nieces and nephews and her companion and friend, Raymond J. Donovan. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton. Mary was a graduate of St. Patrick's Academy, St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Elmira and Marywood University. She worked 40 years at Lourdes Hospital as a nurse and administrator. She served on the Board of Directors of Broom County Catholic Charities and the Samaritan House. She was very proud of her nursing achievements, Irish family and heritage and her Catholic faith as a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday from 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan House, 11 Fayette Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
