Clobridge, Robert R. September 27, 1934 - April 7, 2013 A wind, hard from the Northeast, stinging sleet & ducks on the wing - Heaven Robert R. Clobridge was born in Watertown, NY and attended Watertown High School, Hamilton College and the Syracuse University College of Law, from which he graduated with a degree of J.D. He was a member of the Binghamton law firm of Willsey, Hummer, Buckley & Clobridge and, upon leaving that firm, practiced as a sole practitioner, specializing in Real Property & Family Law. He was also, at various times, an Assistant Broome County Attorney and Deputy Corporation Counsel for the City of Binghamton. He was a member of the NYS Bar Association and served on the Lawyer Assistance Committee. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert E. and Christine Clobridge; his wife, Katherine A. Clobridge; and a son, Kurt David Clobridge. He is survived by a son, Robert C. Clobridge, S. Hyannis, MA; his son Kurt's widow, Anne Clobridge and their children, his grandchildren, Darby and Abbey, West Sand Lake, NY; his former wife and the mother of his children, Gail L. Clobridge; his beloved Chessie, Molly, and many special friends, including Don Colpitts, Lawton Day, and Gary Reid, his longtime duck hunting companion. His passion was waterfowl hunting and he traveled extensively in the US and Canada to engage in the sport. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.
