Isabel Wright Wright, Isabel Montgomery Pt. Dickinson: Isabel Montgomery Wright of Pt. Dickinson, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Klee Wright on January 31, 1966; her sister, Mrs. George (Genevieve) Montgomery Mueller; two brothers, William Malcom and Robert Wellington Montgomery; two nieces, Catherine A. Montgomery and Mrs. Merritt (Nancy) Zucca. She is survived by nieces and nephews and her friend, Arthur Grace, Pt. Dickinson. Isabel was born in Harlem and attended NYC Schools and started working when she was 13 years old. Isabel appeared in silent movies as a young girl with the Edison Studios in New Jersey. She was a model for Lord & Taylor Department Stores in Manhattan in the late 1920's. She met Mr. Wright in September 1929 and married in December 1929 and spent the rest of her life in Pt. Dickinson. She was very active and supportive in her husband's insurance business.Mr. Wright was an agent and broker with Travelers Indemnity Co. of Hartford, CT. for over 40 years. Mr. Wright owned the Kenneth K. Wright Insurance Agency. Special thanks to Debbie Kessler, Cindy Kelleher, Cindy Hurlburt, Mindy Parentau, Elaine Fassano and Cathy Slater. Special thanks to the Pt. Dickinson Police Department Past and Present. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Saturday at 11 a.m. Reverend Jose Gandara, Rector of Church of the Intercession, New York City, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 6-8 p.m. Please NO flowers! Those wishing may contribute to the Pt. Dickinson Volunteer Fire Department, 786 Chenango Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
