Sedor, Michael C. "Mickey" Hawleyton: Michael C. "Mickey" Sedor, 50, of Hawleyton, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 14, 2012, as the result of a drowning accident doing what he enjoyed, ice fishing. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anne Sedor; and sisters, Beverly and Dick Hull and Shirley Williams. He is survived by his sister and brothers, Suzanne and Daniel Parsons, Robert and Sally Sedor, Richard Sedor, Donald Sedor; nieces and nephews, Robin Joy, Patrick Hull, Richard Hull, Christopher Hull, Michele Rader, Neil Rader, Lori Rader, Lynn Hatcher, Michael Williams, Robert Sedor Jr., Kim Quick, Christine Parsons, Daniel Parsons Jr., David Parsons; several great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews and cousins; special friends, Arnie Bennett, Wimpy, Jackie, and many other friends. Mickey was well-liked and had many friends in Brackney and the East Side. Mickey made many friends anywhere he went. He always had a joke to tell and liked making people laugh. The people of Brackney were his second family with many great memories for all. He will be greatly missed by all. We're going to miss the one who got away. He was a graduate of Binghamton North High School and Brockport University. He was a bartender at the Brackney Inn, Brackney, PA and an avid outdoorsman. Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Reverend Matthew F. Brown will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Thursday from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and afterwards a celebration of his life will be held at the Brackney Inn. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Mickey may be made to the Silver Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, PO Box 133, Brackney, PA 18812.
