Obituary of Rita B. Roman

Rita Roman | Visit Guest Book Roman, Rita B. Rita B. Roman, 78, of Binghamton, NY, beloved sister, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2012. She was predeceased by her cherished canine companion Kermit. She is survived by her four children, Michael Roman (Margaret Johnson) of Ithaca, NY, Matthew Roman (Amanda Roman) of Binghamton, NY, Marshall Roman (Jacqueline Kresge Roman) of Bowling Green, OH, and Kyle Webb (Bill Meleski) of Binghamton, NY; five grandchildren, Mike Webb of Ithaca, NY, Heather Roman and Ashley Roman of Bowling Green, OH, and Nathanael Roman and Rachael Roman of Ithaca, NY; one great-grandchild, Kaylin Taylor of Bowling Green, OH; niece, Holly Mezzadonna and nephew, Jeff Topp. Also survived by Cindy Russin Contois; brother, Phil Topp; and sister-in-law, Beth Marlene Topp. The family expresses gratitude to Hospicare of Tompkins County for bringing comfort and dignity to her last days. Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Sunday from 12 noon until 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospicare, 172 E.
