Muscatello, Frank J. Binghamton: Frank J. (Pops) Muscatello, 85, of Binghamton, died at home in the company of his loved ones on January 18. He was born on August 25, 1926. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Camillo and Elisa; in-laws James and Mary K. Larkin; siblings Nellie, Mary, William, Alana and Alice; nephew James Muscatello; niece Elisa Incitti; sons-in-law Matty Williams and Ross Bryan. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 62 years, M. Therese; his children, Mary and Steve Requa, Kelly and Kevin McLaughlin, Catherine, Elisa, Thomas and Joseph Capozzoli, Frank and Margaret, Bill (Chick) and Tawny; his grandchildren, Steve and Tina, Matt, Kevin and Gina, Tara, Gabby, Heather, Matthew, Michael, Frank, Natalie, Sofia, Olivia, Lindsey, Megan, Billy and Tori; his great grandchildren, Anthony and Frankie McLaughlin, Lexi and Maddie Therese Requa. He loved his brother and sisters, Thomas and Mary, Connie Rotondi, Anne Mason and Elsa Muscatello. He was proud of his Kenwood Avenue roots, about which he shared countless stories. He served in the US Army in Europe and held the Bronze Star, European Theater battle ribbon with two stars and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. He attended St. Bonaventure University before joining the Binghamton Fire Department in 1951, retiring as Captain in 1984. He loved family, patio parties on Columbia Avenue, Notre Dame, crossword puzzles, reading and walking in the Sunshine State. He was a man of integrity who touched so many lives, and a loyal friend to many. "And we will all go down together." A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton on Saturday at 8 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Frank may be made to Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, 7 Livingston Street, Binghamton, NY 13903. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton.
