Obituary of Elizabeth C. Singer

Elizabeth C. (Anthony) Singer | Visit Guest Book Singer, Elizabeth C. (Anthony) Vestal: Elizabeth (Betty) C. Singer of Vestal passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 9, 2012. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Anthony, and her husband of 40 years, Frederick W. Singer, Sr. She is survived by her children and their husbands, Connie and Steve Deater, Chris and Pete Eiskant, Kate and Ron Austin, Teresa Singer, Frederick Singer, Jr.; six grandchildren, Sarah, Kit and Emily Deater, Peter and Joe Eiskant, Katy Austin; one sister, Ann Feldman and her Aunt Mary Bucek; two brothers-in-law, Bob Singer, Ron Singer and his wife Patty; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She retired from SUNY Binghamton after 17 years of service and volunteered her time at Vestal Hills Elementary School. She enjoyed bowling, the friendship of her teammates and traveling with family and friends. Elizabeth was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Vestal. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal on Saturday at 9 a.m. Following the Funeral Mass, she will be laid to rest beside her husband Fred in the Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton on Friday from 3-6 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Betty may be made to the Vestal Fire District, Fred W.
