Obituary of Sharon E. Goodspeed

Sharon Elizabeth Goodspeed | Visit Guest Book Goodspeed, Sharon Elizabeth Pt. Dickinson: Sharon Elizabeth Goodspeed, 47, of Pt. Dickinson, died Monday, January 9, 2012 at Ideal Senior Living Center. She was predeceased by her mother, Rosemary King Goodspeed. She is survived by her father and stepmother, Morris and Emily Goodspeed, Binghamton; her sisters and brother, Diane and Michael Bobal, Hillcrest, John Goodspeed, Binghamton, Maureen Maerkl, Pt. Dickinson; stepbrothers and sisters, Enrique and Ingrid Jaen, Joseph and Sunita Jaen, and Jarrod Jaen; nieces and nephews, Michael Bobal and fiance Chelsea Personius, Matthew and Jillian Bobal, Dylan and Joseph Maerkl. Sharon was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Hillcrest and a graduate of Chenango Valley High School. The family wishes to thank the staff of Ideal Senior Living Center for the care given to Sharon. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Chenango Street, Hillcrest on Friday at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Glen Castle Cemetery, Glen Castle. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Sharon may be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America, Upstate New York Chapter, PO Box 25237, Rochester, NY 14625.
