Obituary of Rick Eugene Kniffen

Rick Kniffen | Visit Guest Book Kniffen, Rick Eugene Kirkwood: Rick Eugene Kniffen, 53, of Kirkwood, passed away in to Heaven January 4, 2012. He was predeceased by his mom, Kimmie Kniffen. He is survived by his dad, Gordi Kniffen; step-mom, Kate Kniffen; his biological mother, Shirley Krissell; his beautiful fiance, Ann Kachmar; his wonderful caregiver and cousin, Jenny Lovaglia. Rick's children, Greg and Emmy Kniffen; sisters and brothers, Shanna Kniffen, April Kniffen, Lisa Darrow, Jamie Kniffen, Dan, Patrick and Matt Schnurbusch. Rick's half sisters, Lolly Depofi, Jerri-Lynn Smith, April Krissell and Cathy Camp. Rick's aunts and uncles, Dorothy and Bill Diffendorf, Mel Friedman, Bob and Marion Kniffen, Bill and Maureen Kniffen; many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved Rick dearly. Rick was known for his love of racing, but known mostly for his love and caring of others. Rick's family expresses special thanks and appreciation to Dr. "Y" and her staff in the Chemo Department for all their caring and feeling for Rick. He was currently employed at Innovation Manufacturing. Funeral services will be held at the J.A.McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton. Monday at 10 a.m. Reverend Diane E. Prentice, pastor of Kirkwood United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Kirkwood Cemetery, Kirkwood. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
