Patrick J. Corry | Visit Guest Book Corry, Patrick J. Binghamton: Patrick J. Corry, 79, of Binghamton, died Thursday, December 1, 2011. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Corry; a son, Timothy Corry; daughter, Meghan Corry; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Getsinger; and special aunt, Anna McHugh. Pat was born March 6, 1932 in County Clare, Ireland. He is survived by his children, Bridget and David Owen, Brian Corry, PJ and Jeanne Corry, Michael Corry and Maura Apsey; his grandchildren, Meaghan and Corry Owen, Colleen and Colin Corry and Ryan Corry; two sisters, Mary and Tom Daly, Ann and Jimmy Brennan; a brother, J.J. and Mary Ann Corry, all of Ireland; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Toni and Stu Fish, Baldwinsville; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Pat retired from Laborers Local 7. Pat was very proud of his Irish roots, children, grandchildren, and had many friends. He was a great storyteller and "repeated" storyteller. He had a contagious laugh and smile. He will be sadly missed. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. James Church, Johnson City, Monday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Pat may be made to the American Heart Association , 59 Court Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
