Obituary of Katharine A Holub

Katharine A. Holub | Visit Guest Book Holub, Katharine A. Binghamton: Katharine (Kay) A. Holub, 73, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2011. She was predeceased by her sister, Jan Westfall, and brother-in-law, Jack Joseph. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward A. Holub; four children and their spouses: Eric and Caroline Holub, Lisa and Rick Ferrero, Mary Leigh Holub, Tara and Jason Riesbeck; eight grandchildren: Andy, Jack and Robbie Holub, Tony and Joey Ferrero, Paige, Kyle and Eddie Riesbeck; two sisters, Ann and Bob Quinn, Pat Joseph; brother-in-law Tom Westfall. Kay enjoyed reading, sailing, gardening, entertaining, playing cards and keeping up with the world news. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Thursday at 1 p.m. At Kay's request, there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Kay may be made to the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790 or to the American Heart Association , PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton.
