Cecilia Ward Casey | Visit Guest Book Casey, Cecilia Ward Binghamton: Cecilia Ward Casey, 94 years young, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2011, at Willow Point Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Veronica and Thomas Ward; her husband, Albert Casey; nine brothers and sisters, Serenus, Paul, Gerald, Joseph, Genevieve, Ruth, Kathryn, Rita and Mary; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She is survived by her four children, Kathleen Carr (Robert), Rita Andrew (Stephen), Kevin Casey (Paulette) and Michael Casey; twelve grandchildren and their spouses; they were the loves of her life, they brought her so much pleasure: Mark and Rebecca Radicchi, Jennifer and Michael Hensel, Timothy Carr, Jennifer and Randy Campbell, Jaime and Ryan McMurray, Erin and Brad Rickman, Heather and Joseph Rice, Kathryn Andrew and Casey Andrew, Alexander Casey, Nicole and Danielle Casey; fourteen great-grandchildren, Sophia, Claire, Cecilia, Ben, Molly, Finn, Jude, Aylah, Courtney, Austin, Jordan, Alexis, Macie and Robert; many very special nieces and nephews, especially Mary Ann Giblin; and a very good friend, Loretta Dillon. Cecilia was a lifelong member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton, and its Altar Rosary Society. She retired from the Broome County Sheriff's Department with 22 years of service. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of the Willow Point Nursing Home West Wing. Their care, love and support will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Cecilia may be made to the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.
