Obituary of Karen Brewer

Karen E. Brewer | Visit Guest Book Brewer, Karen E. Binghamton: Karen E. Brewer, 53, of Binghamton, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after an illness. She was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Morrison. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, David L. Brewer, Binghamton; her children, David and Karin Brewer, Brittany Brewer, Kyle Brewer, Stephanie Brewer; two grandchildren, Sydney and Bridget Brewer; her parents, Tom and Leona Morrison; many close friends; her feline companion, "Burito"; and brother-in-law, Larry Brewer. She was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton. Karen was employed for over 10 years by the Binghamton School District at East Middle School. The family wishes to thank the staff of Broome Oncology, especially Debbie Schaffer and Dr. Yalamanchili. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Karen may be made to Broome Oncology, 161 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
