Obituary of Eric J. Haley

Haley, Eric J. Syracuse, NY: Eric J. Haley, 38 of Syracuse passed away Friday March 22, 2013 surrounded by his loving family, fiance and friends at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Anna Haley; maternal grandparents, John and Catherine Hawley. He is survived his parents, Mike and Kay (Hawley) Haley; brother, Michael Haley (Mary Scales and daughter Brianna); sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Dan Driscall; his nephew, Will Driscall; fiance, Monica Schoonmaker; several aunts, uncles, cousins and too many friends to count. He loved music, sports, cooking and life in general and will be sorely missed by all of those he touched in life. He graduated from Binghamton High School Class of 1994 and Onondaga Community College. Thanks to St. Joseph's Hospital staff for their excellent care and compassion shown to Eric and his Family. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Thomas Aquinas Church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Eric may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital Medical ICU, 301 Prospect Avenue, Syracuse.
