Kelleher, June P. Kirkwood: June P. Kelleher, 87, of Kirkwood, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, July 30, 2011, surrounded by her family at the James G. Johnston Memorial Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Kelleher; and her sisters, Emily and Eve. She is survived by her children, John Kelleher, Havre, MT, James and Judy Kelleher, Binghamton, JoAnn Kelleher and David Gorman, Chenango Forks, Thomas and Andrea Kelleher, Johnson City; four grandchildren, Brian and Sean Kelleher, Noah and Alyssa Kelleher; sisters-in-law, Therese Kelleher, Beverly Kelleher, Vee Kelleher; several nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church, Kirkwood. She was a retired secretary for the New York State Labor Department and a former secretary to the principal at Susquehanna Valley Junior High School. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Star Unit at James G. Johnston Memorial Nursing Home. Her legacy lives on in her four children and four grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Church, 975 Rt. 11, Kirkwood, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of June may be made to St. Mary's Church Building Fund, 975 Rt. 11, Kirkwood, NY 13795 or to the Alzheimer's Association , 401 Hayes Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
