Obituary of Regis J. McCormick

Regis J. McCormick, 69, of Binghamton, died Wednesday morning, January 5, 2005, at Binghamton General Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Loretta McManus McCormick. He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph F. McCormick, Cherry Hill, N.J., Robert J. and Veronica McCormick, Cherry Hills, N.J., Stephen J. and Kathleen McCormick, Nashville, Tenn., David M. and Sharon McCormick, Lumberton, N.J.; four grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Kelly and Marina; two brothers and sister-in-law, Vincent and Ruth McCormick, Kevin McCormick, all of Binghamton; a sister and brother-in-law, Marianne and Thomas M. Murphy, Vestal; his aunt, Mary McManus, Binghamton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Regis was a graduate of St. Patrick's Academy, Class of 1954 and retired from Vocational Rehabilitation Services. The family thanks the residents and his extended family at the Binghamton YMCA and the ER and ICU Staffs at Binghamton General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Silver Lake, PA. In the Spring, the family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Regis may be made to the Binghamton YMCA Residents Council, 61 Susquehanna St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13902.
