Timothy Leo Corry, 44, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly at Wake Med Hospital, on Sunday evening, October 31, 2004. Tim was a resident of Binghamton, N.Y., before moving to Raleigh, N.C., nine years ago. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce; grandmother, Dorothy Getsinger; and sister, Meghan. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Cheri (DiFulvio) Corry, Raleigh, N.C.; his father, Patrick Corry, Binghamton; his sisters, Bridget Owen and husband, David, Maura Apsey and husband, Stuart, both of Binghamton; his brothers, Brian Corry and wife, Mechele, Carbondale, Pa., Patrick Corry Jr. "P.J." and wife, Jeanne, Johnson City, and Mickey Corry and wife, Betsy, Binghamton; his in-laws, Thomas and Janice DiFulvio, Binghamton; sister-in-law, Debra Santoni and husband, Robert, Raleigh, N.C.; sister-in-law, Christine Dean and husband, Michael; brother-in-law, Thomas DiFulvio and his wife, Mary, both of Endwell. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Toni and Stewart Fish, Baldwinsville, N.Y.; grandmother-in-law, Suzanne Carr, Binghamton; his nieces and nephews, Meaghan, Corry, Colleen, Colin, Ryan, Andrew, Zachary, Gabrielle, Alexandra, Victoria, Daniella, Lauren, Allison; and many other family members and friends. He was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School, and was employed by Clancy and Theys Construction Company of Raleigh, N.C., as a Construction Superintendent. He was an avid golfer, a NY Yankee, Carolina Hurricanes, and NASCAR fan. He loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. James Church, Johnson City, Friday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy, in memory of Tim, may be made to the American Heart Association, 59 Court Street, Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
