Obituary of Andrew W. Donahue

Andrew Wilson Donahue, 16, of Binghamton, died unexpectedly Friday evening, May 21, 2004 as the result of an automobile accident. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Leo Donahue. He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Tari Donahue; his sister, Morgan Donahue, all at home; his paternal grandmother, Catherine Donahue, Binghamton; maternal grandfather, Fowler Wilson, Binghamton; maternal grandmother, Roxanna Wilson, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Timothy and Maureen Donahue, Leo and Sim Donahue, Patrick and Trixie Donahue, Sharon and Scott Burghardt, Michael and Stacie Wilson, Leticia Brown and Fowler Wilson Jr.; several cousins. Andrew was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, where he was an altar server. He was a sophomore at Seton Catholic Central High School and a member of S.A.D.D. Andrew played basketball, varsity baseball and varsity golf. Andrew had a great love of life and a great sense of humor. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, corner of Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton, Tuesday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Andrew may be made to St. Patrick's Gym Floor Replacement Fund, 9 Leroy Street, Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
