Obituary of Marian V. Subik

Marian V. Subik, 79, of Binghamton, died Saturday morning, November 1, 2003, at the Susquehanna Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her parents, William J. and Anna Subik. She is survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, William Subik, Vincent and Judy Subik; her nieces and nephews, David and Salley Subik, Daniel and Stacey Subik, La.; Diane Subik, Vince Subik and Kathi Cook, Kim and David Zaic, Tim and Nancy Subik; many great-nieces and nephews; also her many close girlfriends. She was always affectionately known as "Aunt May." She was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton, retired 40-year employee of the IBM Corporation, and very active in the Quarter Century Club and Travel Clubs. Travels took her all over the world. Marian loved animals very much. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday at 9 a.m., and 9:30 a.m. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, where a funeral mass will be offered. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Mc Cormack Funeral Home Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Marian may be made to St. Cyril's Church, 148 Clinton St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905, the American Red Cross, 620 E.
