Obituary of Donald A. Hart

Donald A. Hart, 83, of Binghamton and Ruskin, Fla., died unexpectedly Thursday, October 9, 2003, at his home. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen Dow Hart, Binghamton; his children, James and Carole Hart, Lawrence and Virginia Hart, Dennis Hart and Sharon Pratt, John and Olga Hart, Eileen and Joseph Urda; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Church, Vestal. Don retired in 1977 as Superintendent of Windows for the United States Post Office in Binghamton and was a Navy Veteran of WWII. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent dePaul Church, Clubhouse Rd., Vestal, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Don may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Church, 165 Clifton Blvd., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903, or to a charitable organization. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y.
