Obituary of Julian J. Kaufman

Julian J. Kaufman, 81, of Johnson City, died Friday morning, September 26, 2003, at Willow Point Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Helen Kaufman. He is survived by his children, Michele and David Sivillo, Gathersburg, Md., John Kaufman, Newark Valley, Eric Kaufman, Johnson City; grandchildren, Vincent and Marcia Sivillo, Maria and Christopher Peck, Jillian Kaufman; very dear family, Alexander, Robert and Marie, Thomas, Michael, and Lori Antoni. He was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City; retired security officer at Binghamton University, and a veteran of World War II. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., and at 11 a.m. at St. James Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do an act of kindness for someone.
