Obituary of Frances Skiadas

Skiadas, Frances Peppas Binghamton: Frances Peppas Skiadas, 86, of Binghamton, died Wednesday morning, February 20, 2013, at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore J. Skiadas; her sister, Pauline Stratos; and her brother, Sam Peppas. She is survived by her children, James and Julie Skiadas, Chenango Bridge, Ernest and Barbara Skiadas, Binghamton, Pat and Joseph Pietrosanti, Binghamton; her grandchildren, Stephen, Kristin, Alexander, Michalena, Adam, Cassandra, Thomas and Laura; 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and families in Charlottesville, VA. She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Vestal, and a member of the Philoptohos Society. She was a former waitress at the Argo Restaurant in Binghamton. Frances enjoyed bingo, going to the casinos, and being with family and friends and preparing dinners for her family. Funeral Services will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 4121 O'Hara Dr., Vestal, NY, Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday from 5-8 p.m. Trisagion Service will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Frances may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
