Obituary of Anna T. O´Neil

Anna Burke O'Neil, 96, of Binghamton, died Wednesday morning, July 9 2003 at the Vestal Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. O'Neil; her brothers, , Edward, Francis and Rev. William Burke; and her sister, Mary Burke. She is survived by her children, Marjorie and Joseph Matturro, Gaithersburg, Md., John and Bonnie O'Neil, N.Salem, James and Judy O'Neil, Binghamton; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathryn Curley, Liberty, Louise Burke, Vestal; sister-in-law, Adelaide "Rusty" Burke, Binghamton; and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 9 a.m., and at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Anna may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church Building Fund, 1263 Vestal Ave., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903.
