Abraham Jonathan Gold, 10 of Johnson City went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening, June 11, 2003 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Judge A.E. Gold. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Mc Intosh Gold; his father, John H. Gold; his sister, Jennifer Gold; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Elizabeth Mc Intosh; paternal grandmother, Myriam Gold; two aunts, Lori Misuraca and Colleen Knopick; an uncle, Daniel Gold; and several cousins. He was a 5th grade student at C. Fred Johnson Middle School, Johnson City. Our beloved boy went to be with the Lord, who called him back home. He touched so many lives. He had a smile on a rainy day. He gave joy to all who knew him. He was here to be a pure example of God's love. He was sent to us from heaven. We were blessed by an Angel. We thank BDC for their unconditional love and thanks UHS hospital for the patience and understanding and wonderful care and everyone involved in his care, with special thanks to Mike, Joe, Bonnie and Debbie. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, corner of Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. Mc Cormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Abe may be made to the Handicapped Children's Association of Southern NY, 18 Broad St., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.
