Cheechalk, 94, of Binghamton died Sunday evening, June 8, 2003 at Elizabeth
Church Manor. She was predeceased by her husbands, John S. Golinski and John
Cheechalk. She is survived by her step-daughter, Delores Thayne, Binghamton;
five grandchildren, Mark Wilcox, Daniel and Tracey Wilcos, Roxanne and Tom
Eaves, Gerald and Penny Wilcox, Christopher and Kelly Wilcox; 13 great
grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a sister, Anna Cherviniak, Dickinson
City, Pa.; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Meagher, Johnson City. Mae was a member of
SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, Binghamton and retired from Fowler's Department
Store.
Funeral services will be held at
the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Thursday at
8:30 a.m. and at 9 a.m. at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, where a funeral mass
will be offered. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dickinson City, Pa. The
family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 to 5
p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mae may be made to the Hospice
Program, c/o Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton,
N.Y. 13905.
