Obituary of Melvyna Lynch

Melvyna Yanus Lynch, 79, of Binghamton, died Thursday evening, May 22, 2003, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband, John T. Lynch; her brothers, William, Joseph, Charles and Barney Yanus; and a sister, Marion Casson. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Mary Yanus, Binghamton, Ruth Yanus, Vestal, Mary Golden, Johnson City, Agnes Kane, Binghamton, Rosita Lynch, Johnson City; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She and her late husband, John, were founding members of St. Andrews Church, Binghamton. Mel was a retired Quality Control Inspector for the G.A.F. Corporation, retiring after 37 years of service. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m., and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrews Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m.
