Obituary of Ann T. Ferrante

Ann Laskevicz Ferrante of Binghamton, formerly of Endicott died Saturday morning, May 3, 2003 at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald P. Ferrante; her son, Donnie Ferrante; and her sister, Katherine Blinkovitch. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rosalind and Richard Tierno, Binghamton; granddaughters, Karolyn Tierno and fiance Richard Kipp, Binghamton, Lori and Mark Woods, N.C.; grandson, Richard J. Tierno; great-granddaughter, Taylor Woods; brother and sister-in-law, William and Mary Laskevicz; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Victor and Marie LaStella; lifelong dear friend, Margaret Sharak; good friends, Karen Kuzma, Shirley Brunick and Melvine Spirito; cousins, Mary Fahey Carpenter, Fla.; several nieces and nephews and her feline companion, "Tony". She was a member of St. Joseph's Lithuanian Church, Binghamton. Special thanks to her angel caregivers, Rubie Sievers, Billie Jo Laman, Lillian Johnson and Helen Burdick. The family acknowledges with very special thanks, Denise Allen and Pam Kilpatrick from Hospice and Hospice Volunteers, Jean Hazella and Tim McCarthy. Thank you also to Dr. Jewell's office, especially Gretchen and Fr. Mikalajunas. Mom was truly blessed with all of you in her life. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Lithuanian Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Ann may be made to the Hospice Program, c/o Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 169 Riverside Dr. Binghamton, NY 13905.
