Obituary of Paul O. Cannon

Paul O. Cannon, 59, of Vestal, died Monday morning, April 28, 2003, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Virginia Cannon. He is survived by his wife, Marianne Blaha Cannon; and his daughters, Colleen and Traci, all of Vestal; two sisters, Joyce Sirgany, Binghamton, Ginny Cannon, Binghamton; three brothers, Joseph Cannon, Binghamton, Jack Cannon, Rochester, James Cannon, Vestal; brother-in-law, Stephen Blaha; sister-in-law, Christine Pimentel; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Vestal. Paul was an avid bowler and member of the local Bowlers Hall of Fame. The family acknowledges with gratitude the Bowling community for their constant and loving support. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Clubhouse Rd., Vestal, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at a later date. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Paul may be made to an educational trust fund for his children, c/o Visions Federal Credit, 2531 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
