Obituary of Elizabeth A. Mc Glynn

Elizabeth A. McGlynn, 78, of Binghamton, died Thursday morning, April 19, 2003, at her home. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, J. Joseph McGlynn, Binghamton; four sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas J. and Beverley McGlynn, Lyndhurst, N.J., Daniel J. McGlynn, Hawaii, James J. and Kathleen McGlynn, Quincy, Mass., Edward J. and Valarie McGlynn, Canandaigua; her grandchildren, Sean and Trevor McGlynn, Neil and Kevin McGlynn, Molly Elizabeth McGlynn, Paul, Elizabeth and James Maddison; two sisters, Mary Battista, Binghamton, Margaret Kocak, Port Dickinson; sister-in-law, Mary Therese Cooney, Warwick, R.I.; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. Liz enjoyed many years as a school crossing guard for the Binghamton School District. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Monday at 9 a.m., and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
