Obituary of David M. Montgomery

David M. Montgomery, 29, of Binghamton, died unexpectedly Monday, March 3, 2003, in Savannah, Ga. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur P. Montgomery; his paternal grandparents, Weldon and Stella Montgomery; his maternal grandparents, William and Ann Whitacre. He is survived by his wife, Misty Montgomery; and his daughter, Sarah Montgomery, Binghamton; his mother and father, Patricia and Kurt Scheiwe, Endicott; two brothers, Michael Montgomery and Brian Montgomery; two sisters, Kristina and Brian Parrish, Karen and Michael Schnezler; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a volunteer fire fighter and EMT in Weltonville, N.Y. and a member of the Binghamton Police Auxiliary. David enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his family and his daughter. He was very helpful and kind to all. Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday, at 1 p.m. Rev. Timothy R. Bennett, Pastor of Main Street Baptist Church, Binghamton, will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday, from 12 noon until service time at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to a Trust Fund for Sarah, c/o BSB Bank and Trust, 1054 Rte. 17c, Owego, N.Y. 13827.
