William German,
73, of Binghamton, died Thursday evening, December 26, 2002 at River Mede Manor
after a long illness and is finally at peace with the Lord, knowing the love of
his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Dennis and Fannie
German. He is survived by his children, Robyn and Charles March, Falmouth,
Maine, William German, Los Angeles, Calif., Heidi Savino, Medford, Mass.; four
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five sisters, Margaret Herrin, Calif.,
Betty Cannon, Okla., Phyllis Bloom, Jackie Lobevero, Endicott, Nancy Nobs, Vestal;
three brothers, Dennis German, Pa., Thomas German, Fla., Robert German,
Binghamton; several nieces and nephews. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean
War and a retired barber in Boston, Mass. and Endicott. He enjoyed antiquing
and played in several bands. Special thanks to the staff and friends at River
Mede for their care and love.
Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141
Main St., Binghamton, Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Richard Sargent, Pastor of Endwell
Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery,
Hillcrest. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home,
Monday, from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m.
