Catherine H. "Gram" "G.G." Gorman, 94, of Binghamton, passed away Thursday evening, December 12, 2002, at St. Louise Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Leroy Gorman; and her daughter, Dody Combs. She is survived by her son-in-law, Jack Combs, Binghamton; her grandchildren, Mary and Gary Desimone, Conklin, John and Karin Combs, Chattanooga, Tenn., Anne and Chris Lane, Hilton Head, S.C., Nancy Combs, Binghamton, Thomas and Christine Combs, Binghamton; seven great-grandchildren, Jim and Katie Desimone, Sarah and Christopher Lane, Colette Clark, Abigail and Lily Combs; several nieces and nephews. Catherine was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton, and a retired employee of Britt's Department Store. She was born in Towanda, Pa., and lived for many years in Chenango Forks. The family wishes to acknowledge with gratitude the staff of St. Louise Manor, and Dr's. Fahmy and Walters. You will be greatly missed Gram and G.G.! Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Monday, at 9 a.m., and at 9:30 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Catherine may be made to the American Heart Association, 59 Court St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13902.
