Foy, Richard G. "Dick" Binghamton: Richard G. "Dick" Foy, 78, of Binghamton, died Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Willow Point Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Edyth Foy; his daughter and son, Monica and Jim; his brothers and a nephew, Gavin Russell. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Nancy Foy of Binghamton; 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Maria Maddison, Binghamton, Elizabeth Foy-Lowery and Gregor, Scotland and Sarah Cronin, Syracuse; six grandchildren, Daniel Foy, Zachary Mireider, Matthew Mireider, Victoria Stanton, Alexander Maddison and Abigail Maddison; one great-grandson, Joseph; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and James Russell, Syracuse and their children and grandchildren. Dick was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton and a past member of the Knights of Columbus Council 206, Binghamton and a past member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He was a retired employee of I.B.M. Endicott and a member of its Quarter Century Club. Dick loved life and everyone that knew him. He will be missed by all and his laugh will not be forgotten. A Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Silver Lake, PA in the spring. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions in Dick's memory may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 9 Leroy Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
