Edward

J. Hobart, 69, of Binghamton, died Monday evening, July 9, 2001, at Our Lady of

Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Ellen Hobart;

and several brothers. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia Herbert

Hobart, Binghamton; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Donna Hobart,

Endwell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Michael Crawford, Johnson

City, Cynthia and Tracy Davis, Ithaca; four grandchildren, Michael, Brendan,

Patrick and Victoria; two step grandchildren, Brandon and Jessica; a sister,

Agnes Hanley, Endicott; several nieces, nephews. He was a member of St. John

the Evangelist Church, Binghamton, and the Holy Name Society. Funeral services

will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton,

Thursday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, where a

Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.

The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Wednesday, from

5 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Edward may be made to St. John

the Evangelist Church Restoration Fund, 1263 Vestal Ave., Binghamton, N.Y.
