Ruiz, 59, of Binghamton, died Monday, September 3, 2001 at Wilson Memorial

Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents, Gorge and Dolores

Colon Ruiz. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Lucille Colon, Carmine

colon, Maria Colon, Aurora and Thomas Schatz, Gorge Ruiz, Jr., Reinaldo Ruiz,

Eduardo Ruiz, Mighel Ruiz, Angel Ruiz; several nieces and nephews; very special

friends, Carol and Jessica Nogaret; best friend and nephew, Phil Kingsley, Jr.;

his fishing buddy and nephew, David Kingsley. Thomas was a retired 30-year

employee of the City of Binghamton. Funeral services will be held at the J.A.

McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Rev. Kevin Bunger of the Catholic Latina Community, will officiate. Burial will

be in Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at

the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday, from 4 to 7 p.m.
