Obituary of Agnes M. Murphy

Agnes Murphy, 76, of Binghamton, died Saturday, September 8, 2001, at Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Margaret Murphy; her brothers, John, Vincent and Michael Murphy, and her sister, Alice Murphy. She is survived by her sisters and brothers, Janet and James LaVasser, Binghamton, Marilyn (Dottie) Vashina, Castle Creek, Josephine Murphy, Binghamton, Anna Mae and John Tokos, Binghamton, Beverly and Richard Barnes, Castle Creek, Helen and Chauncey Richardson, Owego, Kathy and James Farmer, Binghamton, Gary Murphy, William Murphy, both of Chenango Bridge, Leo Murphy, Dennis Murphy, both of Binghamton; sisters-in-law, Barbara Murphy, Binghamton, Barbara (Quick) Murphy, Port Crane; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Christopher's Church, Binghamton and the Bereavement Committee and was the Parish secretary for over 40 years. She retired from Dairy Council. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Christopher's Church, Castle Creek Road, Binghamton, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Agnes may be made to St. Christopher's Church, 103 Castle Creek Rd., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903.
