Obituary of Kathryn C. Gibson

Gibson, Kathryn Tyne Liverpool: Kathryn Tyne Gibson, 71 of Liverpool, formerly of Binghamton, died peacefully Friday, February 1, 2013 at the home of her daughter. She was predeceased by her husband Charles S. Gibson, her son Mark, her parents Roger and Claire Tyne and her brother Roger Tyne. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Paul Wells, Liverpool, Laura and James Lamb, Gettysburg, PA; her grandchildren whom she adored, Kristina, Rebecca, Katelyn, Jonathan, Anna Claire, Jacob; several cousins and many wonderful friends; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joan Perez, Ann Fendick, Sam and Paula Gibson, Henry Trasolini. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton. Kaye will be remembered fondly by her devoted children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Many thoughts of joy will be remembering her beautiful blue eyes, smile, and laughter. Let's not forget all those fun trips to the casino's with Dad! You will be greatly missed and loved! A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Monday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Kaye may be made to Homeaides of CNY, 723 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13203 for the Respite Program
