Obituary of Dorothy D. Meehan

Dorothy Meehan, of Binghamton, died Thursday evening, October 9, 2003 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by a son, J. Richard Meehan; and a brother, Robert Deuel. She is survived by her children, Anne Van Housen, Binghamton, Jean and Bruce Darrow, Waverly, R. Joseph and Frances Meehan, Westminster, S.C.; a daughter-in-law, Marie Meehan, Md.; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Harry and Anne Deuel, Fla.; sister-in-law, Mildred Deuel, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church Monday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Montrose, Pa. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Dorothy may be made to St. Patrick's Church Restoration Fund, 9 Leroy St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y .
