< James F. Carr Jr., 71, of Binghamton, died Sunday morning, July 13, 2003, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Florence E. Carr; his father, James F. Carr Sr.; and a sister, Mary Catherine Carr. He is survived by his children, Kathleen and Michael DiFulvio, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Christine and Paul Donovan, Cary, N.C., Joan and Terry Reed, Margaret and Michael Wager, all of Binghamton, Patric and Jodi Carr, Glendale, Ariz., Kevin and Rita Carr, Binghamton, Joseph and Kelly Carr, Hillcrest; his grandchildren, Daniel, Sarah and Laura DiFulvio, Matthew, Kelly and Brian Carr, Ryan and Shannon Donovan, Sean Carr, Tyler Reed, Jessica and Christopher Wager, Michael, Patrick and Zachary Carr; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Witeman, Halli-Lin and Emilie DiFulvio; his mother, Mary Carr, Binghamton; brothers and sister, Fred and Barbara Carr, Patrick and Maureen Carr, Cornelius and Dorothy Carr, Eileen and Richard Coughlin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, member of the American Legion Post 1645, and member of the D.A.V. and V.F.W. Post 2332, Johnson City. He retired from Binghamton University and was a former employee of the Press & Sun Bulletin and Vail-Ballou. Jim was an avid N.Y. Yankee Fan. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday, at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Laurence J. Lord will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday, from 4 to 7 p.m.
