Obituary of Maureen Ann Powell

Maureen Ann Powell, 52, of Binghamton died Sunday evening, May 25, 2003, at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Powell, her father, James Lynch and her brother, James Lynch. She is survived by her son, Justin Powell, Binghamton; her mother, Mary Magina Lynch, Binghamton; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Michael Schaden, Frederick, Md., Shawn and John Zych, Binghamton; her aunt, Cecelia Lynch, Binghamton; great aunt, Patricia DeLorme, Binghamton; several nieces and nephews and her pets, Max, Ruckus and Shadow. She was a graduate of Chenango Valley High School and was a Dental Assistant for Dr. David Payne and Dr. Imad Tamimi. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday at 1:30 p.m., and at 2 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Maureen may be made to Lourdes Hospital Oncology, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
