Obituary of Evelyn J O'Neill

O'Neill, Evelyn J. Binghamton: Evelyn J. O'Neill, 86, of Binghamton, died Monday, January 21, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her family who loved her. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter T. O'Neill. She is survived by her children, Gary and Karen O'Neill, Kevin and Laura O'Neill, John and Suzanne O'Neill, Eileen O'Neill and Ed Komor, Julianne and Robert Cusmano, Timothy O'Neill and Christine Finch; grandchildren, Mary O'Neill, Jennifer and Ron King, Kelly and Kevin Twitchell, William and Cristie O'Neill, Sara and Joseph Rieber, Matthew and Ashley O'Neill, Amy Polhamus, Sarah and Jamie Boehm, Robert and Joseph Cusmano, Devin and Danielle O'Neill, Brianna O'Neill, Kyle and Gina O'Neill, Santiago; 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Brian and Carol O'Neill; sister-in-law, Marion O'Neill; several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Leo O'Neill and a son, Walter O'Neill; also survived by her sons and families, Stephen O'Neill, Michael O'Neill, Shane O'Neill. Evelyn enjoyed Bingo and cared for the elderly and had many special friends at Woodburn Court, especially Maria Rando, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 3 p.m. Reverend Gerald J. Buckley will officiate. Burial will be in St. Cecelia's Cemetery, Pleasant Mt., PA, in the spring. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Saturday from 1-3 p.m.
