Obituary of Anne M. Michalovic

Anne M. Michalovic, of Johnson City,
passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, April 16, 2003, at Our Lady of Lourdes
Hospital. She was the daughter of Stephen and Theresa Michalovic. She was
predeceased by her brothers, Stephen, Alfred, Henry and Joseph Michalovic; and
her sister, Regina Vojtisek. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Anthony
Vojtisek Sr., Endicott; and uncle and aunt, William and Sue Kabat, Johnson
City; nieces and nephews, Reggie and Dave Lindsey, Suzanne and Greg Wolf, Anita
and Randy Ott, Marie Askew, Anthony Vojtisek, Al and Dana Michalovic, Hank and
Doris Michalovic, Rita Michalovic, Judy and Bob Houghtalen; and numerous great
and great-great-nieces and nephews and several cousins. Anne was a devout
member of St. James Church, Johnson City, where she served as a Lector and
Eucharistic Minister. She was a retired Business Manager at Wilson Memorial
Hospital, an honorary member of VFW Post 2332, and a former member of Roberson
and the American Civic Association where she taught folk dancing. Anne will be
remembered for her tenacious spirit, her devotion to God, dedication to St.
James Church and fervent love of her family.
Funeral services will be held at
the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday, at 9
a.m., and at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Church where a Funeral Mass will be
offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will
receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m.
