John J. Farrell, Jr., 69, of Binghamton, died Saturday, October 27, 2001 at Good Shepherd-Fairview Home. He was the son of the late John J. and Lillian Farrell and was predeceased by his brother, Billy Farrell,and an infant sister, Mary Ruth. He is survived by his sister, Sister Lillian Marie Farrell, I.H.M., Pastoral Assistant at St. Ambrose Church, Endicott; several cousins to whom he was close, including, Rosemary Wilson, Ann Sweeney and Lillian Wilson, all of Binghamton, Kathryn Dunbar, Barrington, Ill., Jackie Casey, Annapolis, Md., Dr. John Wilson, Worchester, Mass. John was a life-long member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, graduate of St. Patrick's Academy; licensed Photo Engraver and Retired Account Executive for Poly Chrome Corporation. He was a member of the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen and was often the recipient of awards for outstanding sales. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Knights of Columbus, Peter T. Campon Council #206. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of John may be made to St. Patrick's Church Restoration Fund, 9 Leroy Street, Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
