Obituary of Sally J. O´Connor

Sally J. O'Connor, 80, of Binghamton,
died unexpectedly Friday, November 1, 2002, at her home. She was predeceased by
her parents, Richard and Anna O'Connor; her sister, Helen Updike; and a special
friend, Joseph Boland. She is survived by three sisters and brother-in-law,
Betty and Ted Budd, Deposit, Anne Mullen and Margaret Goodman, Binghamton; a
brother and sister-in-law, Dr. John and Jeanne O'Connor, Cohoes; her aunt, Mary
Leonard, Vestal; 27 nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews, one
great-great-niece. Sally was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Church,
Binghamton, and a longtime employee of Kresge's and Woolworth stores in
Binghamton. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral
Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday, at 10 a.m., and at 10:30 a.m. at St.
Patrick's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the
McCormack Funeral Home, Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in
memory of Sally may be made to St. Patrick's Church Restoration Fund, 9 Leroy
St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
