Obituary of Barbara A. Capwell

Barbara A. (O'Connor) Capwell, 72, of Brackney, Pa., passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, November 1, 2000 at her home after a bout with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Jenny (Carr) O'Connor; a sister, Jane Corby; brothers, George and Zade O'Connor; and a niece, Bobby McNamara. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, George Capwell; seven children and their spouses, George and Jeanne Capwell, Jr., Christopher and Claire Capwell, Kim and Linda Capwell, Peter and Mary Capwell, Mary and Richard Hull, Thaddeus and Julie Capwell, Patrick and Suzanne Capwell. Barbara is also survived by 12 loving grandchildren, Dillan, Peter, Patrick and Kate; Barbara, Carly, Corby and Richard Hull III; Joshua and George; Casey and Abigail. The Capwell family would like to thank all those friends who have been so kind throughout her illness and in particular, the wonderful caring people with the Lourdes Hospice Home Care Program. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton, Friday at 12 noon.
