Michael Castelli, 45, of Binghamton died Sunday, November 12, 2000 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center after a long illness. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond A. Castelli and a brother, Patrick G. Castelli. He is survived by his sons, Michael Castelli and Wendy DeGroff, Fred Castelli and Joe Castelli, all of Binghamton. His granddaughter, Talia Castelli; his mother, Anne Castelli, Binghamton; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ellen and Robert Trask, Johnson City, Joanne and Michael Putnam, Houston, Tex., Victoria and Robert Weber, Port Crane, Judith and Thomas Brooks, Houston, Tex.; five brothers and sisters-in-law, R. Anthony and Adina Castelli, Alfred and Angela Castelli, all of Binghamton, Louis Castelli, Cato, N.Y., Christopher Castelli, San Francisco, Calif., John and Sharon Castelli, Binghamton; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton and an avid hunter and fisherman. The family would like to thank everyone involved in the fund-raisers and activities during his illness. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions in memory of Michael may be made to The National Foundation for Transplants, 1102 Brookfield, Suite 200, Memphis, Tenn. 38119
