Robert P. Kinney Obituary

Robert P. Kinney, 80, of Port Crane, died

Tuesday evening, July 30, 2002 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after a short

illness. He was predeceased by his brothers, Gerald Kinney, Calvin Kinney,

Charles Kinney and his fiance Evelyn Brenner. He is survived by two sisters,

Mrs. Bermeta Kinney Brown, Port Crane, Geraldine and William Evans, Rochester;

a brother, Thornton L. Kinney, Lee, Mass.; sisters-in-law, Mrs. June Kinney,

Mrs. Sally Kinney Lusks, Mrs. Barbara Brown; several nieces, nephews;

great-nieces and nephews. Bob was a former employee of Piersons Office Supply,

Spaulding Bakeries and BSB Bank and Trust. He was an Army veteran of WWII,

serving in Europe and was a member of American Legion Post #1645. Funeral

services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St.,

Binghamton, Friday at 1 p.m. Rev. Matthew Kennedy, Deacon of the Church of the

Good Shepherd, Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Forest

Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral

Home Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
